Position Purpose & Summary |
|
Cargill presents to you an opportunity to become an integral part of the Application Management team based in Bangalore.
This position spans across Cargill’s Business Application core processes to support the operations and transformation programs of the Apps portfolio and their internal customers. The area of focus includes, butnot limited to the following: · Application data management · Application security controls and governance (LAR, CSA etc.) · Application infrastructure · Application data analytics
Application Management team member will be expected to have or build deep process, application, infrastructure and solution knowledge for all area of focus as mentioned above. This position, in coordination with SPOCs of varios portfolios, will work closely with enterprise process leads, Infrastructure team, Service Delivery Advisors, Solution Delivery Managers and other Global IT teams in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, to analyze and deliver solutions that meet Cargill Global IT needs. This position is to become the Subject Matter Expert, maintaining and ensuring deep knowledge and analysis capability in both application and related infra domain. |

Principal Accountabilities |
|
80% Application Holistic Management · Manage all associated activities for respective applications in coordination with SPOCs · Ensure all application security controls and governance are adhered to as per timelines · Ensure all application data is upto date across different system of records · Attend stakeholder meetings and assist with minutes of meeting and application data validation · Assemble and coordinate the internal and external teams to gain consensus on deliverables from each team · Assist App Management Lead and SPOCs with communication · Manage sharepoint activities document uploading and validation for all projects · Schedule team meeting and coordinating team activities and helping other team members · Ensure project needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner · Assist App Management Lead in developing new strategies to enhance efficiency of the current business processes · Help in designing workflow and selecting materials and manpower for the projects · Search for and suggest advance technologies that can contribute in the development of projects and business · Perform basic troubleshooting for various issues faced by the clients or internal employees while using the systems and applications · Conduct periodical assessments to check the functioning of systems/applications and solicit feedback from users regarding the same · Perform additional administrative tasks as and when required
20% Communication and Accountability · Communicate ideas for improving app management processes with a positive and constructive attitude · Keep the Apps Lead & SPOCs and others informed about activity status and issues · Prepare and share weekly project reports and monthly dashboard to the leadership

Required Qualifications · Graduate in IT or Computer Science from Tier 1 Engineering institute · 3 to 5 years of IT and business / industry work experience · 2 years of experience in IT operations, business analysis or software configuration · 2 years of infrastructure operation, analysis and configuration experience · At least 1 year of experience on data analysis and trend analysis · Data analytical and investigation skills · Strong knowledge on application risk tools like archer, Flexera and configuration management database tools · Experience working with 3rd party service providers · Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications · Any experience in project management is bonus · High familiarity with the technical details of the system and interactions with other solutions · Understand the varied components of the applications to a high degree · Familiar and able to refer team members to the appropriate system documentation · Thorough knowledge of the area of specialization · Prior working knowledge of given functional area
