Awakening corporates to importance of Mental Wellbeing: Affect of work induced stress

According to Mental health statistics 2021, 284 million people worldwide are affected by anxiety, a leading cause of poor mental health.

“A good father is one of the most unsung, unpraised, unnoticed, and yet one of the most valuable assets in our society.”

An individual cannot be the parent their child wants of them, and if you are wondering why then here is your answer. A noteworthy aspect associated with stress is that its effect is not limited to work only. Stress is reflected in a person’s body language and mood, leading to behavioural and physical changes.

Our survey revealed that 40% of men faced anger issues when they were stressed. Episodes of unnecessary outbursts were a common occurrence. In addition, 52% said that they had major mood swings. One moment they are ok and the next second they are not, and 33% said that they often yelled at their loved ones when they were stressed. Stress even lead to physical discomfort for many of them in terms of headache, body tension and other physical ailments.

Stress is robbing us of our temperament. It is altering our basic nature. A child has an impressionable mind. They see the world
from their parent’s eyes, and it becomes the duty of every parent to protect the child from the world's harshness. Unfortunately, stress is not helping the cause.

Stress levels across the globe are on a surge, and most of it is either coming from work or personal life. So this Father’s day, SCIKEY decided to celebrate all the fathers worldwide by delving into their state of mind and understanding their mental health to give them the gift of sound mental health one day.

In this report, we have shared why it's important to be vocal about mental health? The leading cause of stress, Changes affecting
