Job Description

The CRM Communications Specialist is responsible for direct communications (email & direct mail), audience segmentation and management of customer journey messaging for both Jaguar & Land Rover brands. This individual will have the opportunity to help craft strategy and work with the team to ensure that brand positioning and messaging is consistent across communications, support overall marketing conquest & loyalty objectives and achieve KPIs.

Experience: Minimum 3 to 4 years in Automobile Industry

Primary Responsibilities Include
    • Direct Communications - Overall responsibility for all aspects of email and direct mail communications. Provide recommendations to optimize campaigns to improve performance and the customer experience.
    • Audience & Model Management – Manage development of audience strategy for use across communications channels. Work with the CRM infrastructure team to manage data management platform (DMP), develop in-market models and ensure data hygiene.
    • Customer Journey messaging - Responsible for mapping messaging across the customer journey to develop business rules and structure for dynamic optimization. Work collaboratively with Social Media Specialist & Digital Marketing Specialist to develop messaging for use across all channels.
    • Cross-functional support - Partner with JLR Financial Group, After Sales and other business units, to ensure consistency of communication.
    • Analytics/ROI - Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate the end-to-end consumer experience across responsible areas to deliver strong ROI, maximize performance & provide recommendations for optimization. Work with analytics dashboards to identify areas of opportunity in accordance with objectives. Communicate KPIs and campaign performance to management.
    • Agency management – Key client interface for creative & media agencies to ensure successful delivery of projects

Knowledge & Skill Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing or Communications Strategy
  • 3+ years of experience in: marketing, CRM, Direct Mail/Email communications, DMP management, analytics, budget management
  • Automotive marketing or agency experience is desired
  • Passion for marketing, specifically CRM
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively on a fast-paced team
  • Well organized with ability to multi-task, prioritize projects, work within short time frames and meet deadlines
  • Self-starter and detailed oriented; Able to work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have Microsoft Office skills, especially Power Point and Excel
  • Ability to travel.
