• Lead design and analysis of pitch bearing systems and other rotor components with a heavy focus on finite element modeling.
• Support and lead design efforts on multiple wind turbine rotor mechanical components as needed. (bolted joints, castings small fabrications, etc.)
• Provide expertise, collaborate on strategy, and execute global rotor component modeling strategy
• Collaborate with cross functional teams for managing the pitch bearing and rotor component reliability risks through the product life cycle from manufacturing to end of life including activity such as material specifications, validation of specifications, supplier collaboration, verification of field utilization to design assumptions all of which may also include travel as required
