"Everyone has a superpower, a treat, and a treasure; they just have to find and share it with the world." Andrea Zsapka, Brand Strategist & Business Coach, Globalicious Consultancy Sdn Bhd

The three pillars of my life include my passion for dancing, my profession - branding, and my ambition to empower others. For this, I am grateful to my parents that allowed me to explore things to narrow the things I'm passionate about. As a hyperactive kid, my parents sent me to attend taekwondo, debating, handicraft, and dance classes. Besides these, I was equally dedicated towards studies. Over time, I developed my skills on how to connect with people on a deeper level of understanding. These habits made me what I am today.

I can confidently say that I know about 30 forms of social dances that I use to help people find their style. I have also joined an initiative called 'Move For Hope' to support refugee children. People like Mother Teresa and the Dalai Lama are the ones I draw inspiration from. Such individuals are not only inspiring but are at a higher level of consciousness than most of us.

As a dancer, consciousness is important for me. In my personal life, my biggest role model would be my grandfather. A figure who was always found smiling, even though the toughest of times. He was the one who showed me the path to lead life the right way. My family grew closer since my childhood days; today, they live 9000kms away from me. But, we make time to check on each other via zoom.

People often tell me that I juggle too many things at once instead of focusing on just one. However, I believe in fine-tuning and merging dancing with my profession and ambition to balance life. I work with people who need courage and positivity, giving back to society. All these things come together to go down the same path.

I was in my thirties when I had first moved to Malaysia. Leaving behind my job and perfect life to move to a foreign country, I was sad and struggling at the same time. I had no friends, and it was tough at the start. Slowly, I started my dance and a community for women, finally deciding to take control of my life. Eventually, I restarted my career and followed my passion. When we aren't passionate about our work, we fail to attract the right tribe. So it's crucial to find happiness in everything that we do.

As humans, we should avoid labeling others. Labels bring out judgments and expectations, and the opposite of this leads to no problems at all. We need to start looking at an individual's personality to become self-aware and begin working on ourselves. At times, we are the root cause of the problem.

I would love to have a superpower where I could provide confidence and clarity to a woman. An empowered woman, too, need not be bossy. When you aren't empowered, you become insecure about yourself, which turns into a distress cycle. We do not necessarily need people to empower us; we just need to look into ourselves.
