"Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high.."
This was the starting line of the famous poetry of Kaviguru Rabindranath Tagore from his book "Gitanjali" that my father used to read out loud for me & my sibling when we were young.
I always used to think, what makes dad stronger in so much of adversities? How come he smiles and plays with us, or even motivated us during the toughest battle of his life?
He had cancer.
Later, I understand, it was all in his mind - the optimal endurance. The strength of not breaking down was a part of his growth mindset.
I am just trying to follow his path... 😊
