Brief Role Description:

 

We are looking at technically oriented Engineers who are passionate about evolving and building world class products. As a Technical Lead Engineer, you will lead by example in creating a high-performance team that will disrupt the existing paradigms. You will work closely with product owners to understand the vision, objectives and help in creating a road-map for the product which is further broken down into stories that are delivered in sprints

 

Principal Accountabilities:

Lead and Mentor the team technically.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle and write code that is performant, maintainable, clear and concise

Build and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant and scalable platform

Translate Business Requirements into system design

Review the design, architecture, code, test cases of the work completed by the team.

Decompose and assign work to the team.

Effort estimation for the new requirements or any changes required in the product.

Developing framework required for any specific requirements that can support junior developers

Preparing HLD and LLD documents, particularly for complex modules that cannot be handled by junior developers.

Ensuring quality deliverables as per expectations with close coordination with team.

Ensuring best engineering practices are followed during development.

Handle customer queries and complaints received directly or through the company support organization.

Work closely with internal teams like Validation, Implementation, Support, Documentation, Solutioning team) and external stakeholders (Customer)

Own E2E ownership on delivering product or project.

Regular update to stakeholders on project/product progress

Contribute to sprint planning and review

 

Skills & Abilities:

Must have extensive experience in product architecture, design and development using Core JAVA, J2EE Technologies

Must have experience in REST API development.

Must have experience in Databases like Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB

Must have excellent experience in debugging and Problem Solving

Must be good in finding RCA and writing RCA for the problems

Must have experience in writing Junit test cases

Must have experience on GIT, Maven

Good to have knowledge of Redis and other in-memory databases.

Must have experience in designing & developing applications/ microservices using spring boot and middleware like Kafka and RabbitMQ.

Good to have knowledge on WEB Servers like Tomcat

Good to have knowledge on E2E automation using rest assured, POSTMAN Java scripts.

Good to have in Customer interactions with excellent communication skills

Good to have experience on Agile methodology

Good to have knowledge on micro-service architecture

Good to have a payment domain experience
