Job Description

Primary Skillset of Role:

 

  • The candidate must be SME / Architect Level
  • Having knowledge of design called LLD / HLD competency
  • Capable to Planning and execution of AD migration different OS level
  • Able to coordinate / perform multiple technical project tasks able to work in parallel tasks instead of sequential.
  • Good communication skills with Team peers and stakeholders
  • Experience in handling complex project changes
  • Evaluate business requirements for Active Directory migration

 

Technical Skillset of Role:

 

  1. Deep concept & understand AD trouble shooting with immediate remediation 
  2. Extensive experience with AD migration Forest and Domain Level
  3. Experienced with native MS ADMTv3.0 tool with Quest Software (Quest QMM)
  4. Experience in AD Consolidation,
  5. IT infrastructure changes during acquisitions, mergers & divestures
  6. Experience working in multiple AD domains, based on Windows Server2012r2/2016/2019
  7. Practical experience in Server and Client level Security Protocols
  8. GPO Management and Implementation Experience 
  9. Untrusted protocol remediation (NTLMv1, SMBv1 v2, and Ldap Protocol)
  10. Remediation of applications using AD Accounts which are using unsecure encryption
  11. (tls1.0 and tls 1.1)

 

Experienced with the Process of Migration Knowledges:

 

  1. Perform an audit on the existing Active Directory infrastructure
  2. Provide a plan for the implementation process
  3. Prepare physical/virtual resources for the domain controller
  4. Install and configure Windows Server 2016 / 2019 Standard/Datacenter
  5. Patch servers with the latest Windows updates
  6. Assign a dedicated IP address to the domain controller
  7. Install and configure AD DS role
  8. Migrate application and server roles from the existing domain controllers
  9. Migrate FSMO roles to the new domain controllers
  10. Add new domain controllers to the existing monitoring system
  11. Add new domain controllers to the existing DR solution
  12. Decommissioning
