Job Description
As a Senior/Lead Software Engineer, you will tackle exciting and meaningful roles of designing,
developing and implementing our new digital solutions. In short, you will be leading and
mentoring a small development team within a specific task or project, while staying hands-on.
You will be accountable for delivering and maintaining large-scale projects using AGILE software
development methodology.
You will help us with these key responsibilities:
• Perform hands-on technical and functional guidance to design, maintain, build, integrate
and test complex software components according to the functional and technical design
specifications.
• Drive adoption of relevant up-to-date technologies, tools and practices in Agile software
projects
• Analyse and assess impact for new features or bug fixes. Make high-level design and
establish technical standards.
• Lead discussions related to product/application/modules/team and build relationships
with internal stakeholders.
• Drive quality processes (such as performing technical root cause analysis and outlining
corrective action for given problems), measure them and take corrective actions in case
of variances and ensure quality project delivery and results.
• Work closely with our Product Lead and relevant stakeholders to ensure all our solutions
work seamlessly
• Develop new features to enhance our products and complete the product road map.
Suggest ideas to improve the product and the system.
• Optimize codes for load, performance, failover and recovery
• Contribute to development of product innovation
• Implement the improvements for better user experience and scalable systems.
You are the right fit for the job if you have:
• Demonstrated 7 years’ experience in full-stack software development, particularly
web applications.
• Deep knowledge in modern full-stack web application technologies. (Vue.js, Laravel,
Mysql, MongoDB, springboot)
• Understanding of modern architecture and design patterns, including event driven
systems and Microservices
• Experienced in at least 1 Cloud-based deployment solutions, preferably AWS
• Experience in code review and automated testing at unit, integration and system
levels
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to complete the sprint goals
and take active initiatives to improve the product.
• General Skills:
✓ Awareness of “Clean Code” and clean coding practices
✓ Test Driven Development and ability to design Unit, Integration and Functional
tests
✓ Knowledge of SCM and CI/CD tools such as Git, Forge
✓ Familiar with API consumption and design
✓ Growth mindset and Passion for creating products
✓ Friendly, collaborative and team-oriented attitude
