This role’s responsibilities include:

Identify issues in requirements, design specification, system / technical specification and product specification to ensure testing coverage & traceability

Participate in planning & design of testing in both manual and automation

Provide level of effort and schedule estimates for test script development work

Review project information such as Use Cases, User Interface specifications, and technical specifications to understand the system workflow and business requirements

Design test scenarios (test cases) across various stages of testing to cover allocated system requirements

Responsible to develop and execute manual and automation test cases which align with application testing framework

Review manual test cases, executing where necessary, to understand the low level detail and identify functions required to enable scripting/coding Design data-driven, parameterize and modular scripts that allow tests to be maintained or extended without additional script coding

Identify application components to be automated based on both the business priority and expected benefit of automated testing

Raise test defects in defect management tool following MSS SDLC standards with sufficient details and track it to close

Maintain test scripts, making changes where necessary in order to maintain their proper functioning as applications and data change

Document application problems found using automated tests, including scripting steps and data needed to reproduce the problem

Participate in ongoing process improvement efforts to ensure test automation is promoted and applied effectively

Provide automation expertise and assistance to both technical and non-technical team as needed

Complete the testing activities on time and with the highest level of quality

Follow the testing standards and processes implemented in MSS SDLC.

Develop and maintain test artefacts across all test levels.

Work with developers, business stakeholders and other testing resources from the project and the business in completion of testing requirements.

Report update test status promptly and accurately

Assist the test lead / test manager in generation of reports that give visibility of testing progress accurately, promptly and quality.

Work with the various Teams to implement improvements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Finance, Banking, MIS, IT or equivalent experience

b) 3-5 years’ experience as a Senior Test Analyst or Test Analyst in large and medium complexity IT Projects

c) Understanding of testing technologies, specifically writing Test Plans, Test specifications and Test Reports

d) Having technical skill in automation scripting’s or coding as developer

e) Experience in Banking industry EXPERIENCE Key-in the required experience/s for the 

Testing Experiences (i.e: Test Execution) - 3 to 5 Years

Automation scripting tools, i.e: UFT, Selenium, Katalon. etc - 3 to 5 Years

Coding experiences, i.e: VB Scripts, Java, C language, etc - 3 to 5 Years
