Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented Senior Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily laboratory operations, ensure compliance with quality standards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and supervise routine and specialized tests across various domains such as food, water, soil, herbal, and cosmetic products.

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results by adhering to standardized procedures and protocols.

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Oversee sample collection, preparation, and analysis, ensuring timely processing and reporting.

• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to uphold ISO 9001 standards and other regulatory requirements.

• Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

• Document and report findings accurately, maintaining comprehensive records for all analyses conducted.

• Participate in internal audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a testing or quality control environment.

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining laboratory instruments and equipment.

• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and other relevant regulatory frameworks.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with advanced analytical techniques and instruments.

• Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

• Knowledge of safety protocols and hazardous material handling.
