Job Description
All AIA Business Unit which uses SAP BI solutions
Position Objective:
• Provide ongoing support for the SAP BI system in relation to data modeling and monitoring.
• Ensure the SAP BI objects adhered to AIA standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Attending to incidents for SAP BI
• Develop & maintain development documentation (Technical specifications) and other relevant documentation as necessary to ensure the sustainability of development work and compliance to Change Governance.
• The resolution time of incidents & change requests should meet the agreed SLA time based on their priority.
• In addition, he or she is expected to ensure that the daily data loading activity is completed successfully.
• During the month-end, he or she assists the team in month-end monitoring and data reconciliation.
• Experience with HANA and Business Object will be preferred but not mandatory.
• Be aware of business process improvements opportunities and to raise it to the team
Non-financial: Data modeling in BI can be easily maintained with optimal performance and redundant storage minimized.
Minimum Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree Information Technology/Systems, or Engineering or Business related degree majoring in computing systems
Experience:
• 1 to 3 years of SAP BI experience
• Exposure to BW/HANA and Business Object will be advantageous
Practical Skills/Abilities:
• Possess good analytical, communication, presentation, and soft skills
• Able to communicate well in English
• Able to write clearly and work within deadlines
• Able to work extended hours when necessary
• Possess personal attributes such as hard-working attitude, interpersonal skills, professional integrity, and initiative
• Keen to learn, a team player, and have a good working attitude
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, Powerpoint, Access, Visio) skills
Certificates/licenses:
• SAP certification/training in BI will be advantageous
