As our services scale to tens of millions of customers, our Quality Assurance Team is growing fast. The Automation Engineer works in a cross-functional Engineering team delivering our core services for digital platform
What You Will Do
- Own the service’s quality strategy and roadmap, ensuring that mapping between functional requirements and quality strategy exists at the levels of code and automated scripts
- Create and own automation frameworks for API, backend, app, web and mobile solutions
- Define and deliver testing (functional, regression, integration, white-box, UAT) across the landscape of the service, together with the Engineering roles
- Devise quality metrics for the assigned services, including key Customer aspects and metrics of testing process.
- Work with the Engineering teams to create the needed monitoring of quality aspects, and flow the data it into actionable reports on the state of quality
- Write high-quality, highly maintainable code, applying documentation, coding and unit testing practices to ensure long term value of the solutions
- Instrumental with Agile methodologies
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years experience in automation toolsets such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber
- Expertise in functional, regression, integration, and white-box testing experience with Java/JavaScript
- Familiar with NodeJS and WebDriverIO
- Good understanding of TDD, BDD framework
- Hands-on with ci-cd integration with Jenkins, docker for both mobile and web application
- Hands-on experience with load test tools like JMeter
- Keen to create quality code by creating design, documentation, code complexity and standards, unit testing, and integration testing; fluent in Git/BitBucket
- Passion for developing new ideas and approaches, for demonstrable and sustainable continuous improvement
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, experienced with multi-cultural environments
- Ability to drive and deliver in cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage small team of 2-3
- NodeJS / Java Coding Skills, Selenium/Appium Automation Skills, Load Testing Skills, Security Testing Skills, Automation on Public Cloud Platforms.
- Team leadership/Coaching Skill.
- University degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering or equivalent work experience in the software development industry
- Understanding of project management frameworks
- Technical understanding and familiarity with digital solutions
- Clear-spoken and good presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Creative, especially in problem-solving
