Job Description
- Project Management / Program Management / PMO
- Lead Project Team to ensure project management & PMO processes are being followed
- Interfacing with all project business, technical and management stakeholders to drive projects
- Understand projects rolling up to program and organization strategy level
- Driving projects / programs at organization level
- Lead and conduct stand-up calls / play role of scrum master at program / project level
- Lead agile based project management with conduction of all scrum rituals
- Provide consultation to project teams on agile / waterfall project management practices
- Timely escalations and highlights
- Tracking and maintaining enterprise project management tool (Jira / ADO experience is preferable)
- Preparing and improving project documentation templates and repository
- Follow and improve PMO / project / program management processes / functions
- Follow and improve change management processes / functions
- Improving / innovating / introducing new dashboards / reports / formats to represent program and project status
- Financials & Expense Management
- Tracking project budgets and actuals
- Forecasting of expenses
- Rolling up project and resource costs to vertical / business costs
- MIS / Tracking / Chief of Staff
- Preparing regular updates, reports and dashboards for management
- Maintaining and updating trackers and dashboards for ad-hoc MIS requests
- Proactively highlighting delays / changes in project constraints and milestones
Mandatory Skills
- Project management skills a must
- Hands-on experience / certification must in Agile, Scrum, Prince2 and other relevant frameworks / methodologies especially in software or application development domain
- Well versed with usage of project management tools, preferably ADO
- Familiar with advanced usage of MS Office
- Familiar with managing project and program financials
- Organizational skills and multi-tasking
- Working understanding of IT projects / software / infrastructure / information security
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Persuasive and persistent with a right balance of aggression
- Excellent team player
- Strong stakeholder management, vendor management, time management
- Excellent accountability and ownership
Education
- Post-graduation in Management (preferable in Operations or IT stream)
- Graduation – Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology related stream (preferable)
