Job Description
We are looking for a customer focused individual who has a good understanding of complex concepts and is able to keep up in a fast-paced environment working unsupervised. To be successful, you will have excellent organisational and be an effective communicator.
In addition, we are looking for:
- intermediate level Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Problem solving skills – taking a logical evidence-based approach
- the ability to learn and apply knowledge to make decisions
- the ability to derive information from documentation
- a high attention to detail and the ability to focus
- an awareness that changes made may have significant impact throughout complex systems
- the ability to challenge requirements.
- an awareness to possible undesirable side-effects.
It would be helpful, but certainly isn’t essential, if you have the following knowledge and experience:
- educated to degree level or experience of application support or operational technology in an enterprise environment
- experience with generic design tools (eg, Visio/Photoshop/Publisher)
- understanding of Networking, Telemetry and SCADA Systems
- database experience
- server administration
- background knowledge of electronics concepts.
