Role purpose
Handle Packet core Network from SNOC to ensure 100% Network Uptime through Expert Guidance, Root Cause Analysis and Best Practise sharing.
Manage PAN India PaCo network’s maintenance and ensure 100% service availability in coordination with all stake holder.
Support in new technology roll out like LTE, VoLte, IPv6, V-GW etc.
Team capability building to handle new tech. efficiently by arranging in-house/external training.
Effective handling emergencies in PaCo network by involving vendor on right time to ensure restoration in minimal time within agreed TAT
Key accountabilities and decision ownership (Max 5):
To manage and Mentor the team in achieving set targets for Packet Core function, Ensuring smooth operation for Packet Core, stringent process oriented AM & FM operational techniques.
Guidance for the team on critical/Escalated commercial issues & point of escalation. Liaison with vendor, planning, COG team for major/critical issues and resolution.
Integrated operational approach towards subdomains of PaCo for easy & effective impact analysis & service restoration techniques to minimize outages
Upbringing team in terms of skillset, troubleshooting techniques to induce strong technical capabilities for new technology deployment.
Participation in emergency, New projects discussion from kick off with COG team, highlight concerns in solution based on impact analysis.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience (Max 5) :
2-6 years of experience in Telecommunication Industry in Packet Core Domain.
Strong hands on Experience of Nokia PS Core nodes SGSN,GGSN,CMM, CMG, FINS,SRMG
Hands on Experience in DNS, CGF and CGNAT
Creativity and Analytical skills.
Good communication and presentation skills.
