Job Description
As a test automation architect, you will be involved throughout the SDLC of the
product with product management, development and testing team with emphasis
on development, implementation and maintenance of Test Automation Framework
and test suites. You'll be involved in the creation of test scenarios/cases for customer
business requirements and automate the test cases to test scripts to ensure the
business requirements can be effectively tested. Need to work closely with
stakeholders to ensure requirements are being met in the developed automation
suites and also required to mentor and guide the junior members with in the team.
Technical Skills
Must Have
· Hands On Experience on Appium Test Cases for Automation. Develop automated
test cases to maximize efficiency
· Create, maintain and execute test specifications, test cases and increasing the test
coverage will be the primary task
· Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on features and usability as
accurately as possible and come up with possible test requirements
· Identify test data requirements and generate required data to support testing
· Experience working on scripting or programming languages (Java,python) Handson experience with TestNG etc (optional)
· Familiar with agile software development cycles and security testing
· Strong technical and analytical skills; ability to understand complex systems and
design tests around integration and interface points
· Knowledge of general QA procedures and methodologies, as well as software
development fundamentals
· 4+ years of experience in doing Functional & Non-Functional QA automation for
mobile apps
· Familiarity with tools like postman, charles/burp, fiddler, device / server loggers
and mobile app development tools.
· A practiced eye for pixel misalignments, margin errors, and other visual details
· Completion of the tasks without creating a dependency
Nice to have
· Performance testing of Mobile apps
· Distribution & Management of App DIstributionn via Google Play Store / App Store
for beta / production
· Working experience with tools like headspin/kobiton for wide coverage device
testing
· Working experience with device farm based testing
· Knowledge of setting up CI for Automation Testsuite with Gitlab / Jenkins

Principal Accountability
· Understand the product functional requirement and derive the appropriate test
automation framework.
· Design and Develop the automation framework based on new market trends.
· Hands on Test automation in API and GUI.
· Define Automation Development strategy based on requirements analysis
· Review and contribute to requirements analysis during agile story grooming to
ensure testability.
· Ensure the reusability and maintainability of the automated test suites by
following the data driven approach.
· Design and develop Test Automation Framework / Scripts using Selenium Web
Driver.
· To implement and design Automation Test Strategy
· To identify and select test cases for automation
· To organize, manage and create the test automation resources.
· Lead team of automation testers geographically located to develop full
Automation Test Suite for multiple applications.
· Work with the developers, testers and program managers to ensure application
stability and requirements coverage.
· Ensure defects are resolved in a timely manner.
· Experience working on System level Testing and Integration Testing.
· Must be able to work in a fast paced environment often with short QA cycles.
· May be required to provide support outside of normal business hours.
· To adhere to the Process for all the testing activities
