Expectations:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of technical experience in installation, maintenance and upgrades of Application infrastructure – This includes server, application server, web server, database, application software and ACLs.
• Must have an advanced level understanding of middle-tier server administration,
• Operating Systems - Linux (must-have) and Windows platform servers, Database
• systems based on – Postgres (must-have), Oracle or SQL Server
• Shell script or other scripting experience necessary to automate repeatable tasks.
• Experience on DevOps Application infrastructure support.

Primary skills-

• Application server management and support for – Atlassian suite of applications (Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence, Crowd), JFrog Artifactory and SonarQube
• Technical experience Application server management: 3 years Hands-on experience on Linux based servers: 3-7 yrs.
• Hands-on experience Postgres Database: 2-3 years

Secondary skills-

• Automation using Python, and/or PowerShell: 2-3 years

Job summary and Responsibilities:

Work with business users and internal and external teams / vendors to:

• Research/analyse/define/propose/design/document/implement solution to achieve business objectives.
• Maintain, Enhance and Troubleshoot existing infrastructure and application. Design, Build, Review and Test infrastructure and application to deliver efficient and high-availability software solution.
• Coordinate with vendors and support team on problem resolution, design issues, and upgrades.
• Responsive to any outage of the applications to restore services immediately.
• Create and maintain documentation including operations manuals, procedure, problem resolution, and root cause analysis documents.

Nature of Work:

This is NOT an operational role. This is an engineering role and performance expectations will reflect as such. Prescriptive instructions for task fulfilment will not be provided.
