Job Description
Roles and Responsibility
Ability to work closely with Product Management, Engineering leadership, Development, and fellow QA team members to successfully deliver quality solutions.
Responsibilities Include
Work with Product Management and team members to review and validate Data Specs for compatibility with Uplight Standard Data Model
Develop test plan, test scenarios, and corresponding test data
Automate test cases using the framework
Extend the test framework as needed.
Take full ownership of ensuring Quality deliverables and successful data loads.
Report and analyze software issues and test failures
Contribute/Participate in agile engineering processes and ensure compliance
Effective interaction with the domain experts on engineering-related issues.
Verify and Validate modules as per specification.
Expert in Quality Assurance with 3-6 years of experience.
Competent in Python to be able to extend and maintain test framework
Excellent in identifying test scenarios identification, test data creation and test automation
Proficiency in Database concepts, Strong knowledge of SQL - can fetch data using various DB joins.
Understands Data - can work with team members to troubleshoot data issues and contribute in the area of data validation.
Knowledge of different phases during ETL/ELT including data cleansing and validation.
Exposure to data transformation testing, ability to test source and target data w.r.t. quality and count.
Knows various levels of data testing including constraints, duplicates, invalid data, data migration, etc.
Is well acquainted with performance and the industry security best practices.
Has knowledge of testing and managing APIs to industry-accepted RESTful standards
Proficient in Linux commands.
AWS service provider experience.
