Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

As a senior .NET developer, the candidate will be responsible to develop solutions using languages and technologies of the .NET framework in collaboration with offshore team and onsite team / client, primarily in Financial Services domain.

Functional/Technical Competencies:

· Technical Skills –

o In depth knowledge on .NET stack and best practices, .NET Web, .NET App tier.

o Knowledge with Microsoft technology stack

o SQL Server,

o SSIS Development, SSRS Development,

o CSS, Teamcity, Octopus, Nuget.

o Frontend - Javascript, Angular JS (Desirable)

· Minimum 7 to 8 Years of total experience required.

· Efficient in use of agile/scrum methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies.

· Proficient in software and solution delivery lifecycle.

· Proficient in building web-based applications.

· Troubleshooting abilities

· Good communication and interpersonal skill.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demonstrate expertise in Object Oriented design and analysis.
Use best practices of .NET stack.
Reviews and analyses change requests to determine the scope of work and estimate the level of effort for application changes.
Developing technical specifications and architecture
Provides problem resolution support, specific to application issues; identifies and resolves problems in application software, determines symptoms and ensures accurate problem definition
Maintains direct knowledge of and applies all applications maintenance technical processes, procedures, and quality standards
Ability to provide estimates and task duration for assigned task, along with confidence levels and foreseeable dependencies
Writing scalable code for .NET software application with a sharp eye for spotting defects.

Reviewing and debugging .NET applications.
