• Perform Workload Transformation Analysis for Cloud
• Advise on Resiliency Strategy & Design
• The required expertise must involve at least 3 of the following technologies:

• Data Backup & Protection, including IT BCP Management
• Middleware Strategy & Design
• Service Management Solutions
• Software Defined Data Center Solutions

• Primarily, direct and indirect leadership and delivery of advisory and consulting client projects including successful engagement approach and project design and high-level technical solution designs and strategies (i.e. post-sales service delivery)
• Understand and assess client business and technology challenges and needs using a professional and structured discovery approach, requirements gathering and a keen problem-solving skillset
• Create client solutions that meet business and technology requirements and deliver successful outcomes that delight clients
• Develop creative and effective approaches and solutions/deliverables for client projects that maximize value and minimize cost and time as appropriate
• Communicate with strong, proven inter-personal and business communication skills with a demonstrated ability to clearly, professionally and impactfully communicate including verbal (lead and conduct client and partner meetings, interviews, workshops, etc.), written (creating Statements of Work/technical proposals, strategic project documentation and related deliverables, technology/solution whitepapers, etc.), presentations (creating and delivering client presentations, video on demand and webinar material, speaking engagements, etc.), diagrams (developing conceptual and creating), etc. A strong ability to tailor content and delivery to different audiences is required – non-technical executives, technical executives, architects, engineers, etc.)
• Perform the advisory consultant role with authority for your deep areas of technical subject matter expertise (Modern Data Center / Hybrid Cloud)
• Bring a solid “generalist” working knowledge of multiple IT technology domains relevant to large enterprise IT teams to be able to successfully interact with different technology domain team experts, anticipate needs/challenges, build effective solutions with successful outcomes and be a continuous learner of industry trends, technology trends, etc.
• Build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor – manage realistic and appropriate customer expectations
• Foster key partnerships with manufacturers, service providers and partners
• Foster successful handoff and collaboration with executive, architecture, engineering and operations client teams
• Ability to participate and lightly facilitate project management mechanics and successful project outcomes
• Assist in the support and development of the Advisory and Consulting Practice including mentorship to direct and indirect team members
• Maintain strong, relevant industry and technology solution knowledge, skills and experience

Experience required:

• Typically has 15+ years of experience in the design, engineering, and architecture of large-scale Data Center infrastructures.
• 6+ years of experience in IT Enterprise management (Oil and gas, Telco, Banking), Deployment, Systems Integration, or consulting role.
• Strong preference given to having the blended experience of roles across enterprise IT end users organizations, technology manufacturers and technology solution providers
• Expertise with Data Center Strategy, Migration and Consolidation methodologies.
• Strong technical, organizational, and leadership skills for DR/HA technologies
• Expertise with Multicloud solutions.
• Experience in Professional Services/Consulting Delivery
• Cloud Native IT Ops Technologies
• Orchestration & Provisioning
• Private Cloud Design & Implementation
• Server Consolidation Efficiency Studies
• Experience in Data Center modernization, consolidations, separations, or migrations required
• 1-3 years' experience as a Consultant or equivalent experience

Technical Qualifications

• Applied understanding of data center functions,(including basis Data Center Facilities knowledge) technologies and interdependencies:
• Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or Information Systems
• Certification and working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, SOA, ITIL, COBIT, etc.)
• Relevant vendor and industry certifications, e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle, Redhat, VMware are desired
• PMP, IT BCP, ITIL and ITSM knowledge and certifications desired
