Job Description
- Around 5 to 7 years of Telecom BSS migration experience with special focus on rollout strategy and cutover window management. (Total min 10 plus years industry experience)
- Overall responsibility of defining and driving end to end rollout strategy for the Telco and aligning Business on the consequent business and customer impacts.
- Doing detailed impact analysis of rollout strategy and cutover plan in terms of business process and systems impact (e.g. co-existence considerations and how it affects systems and processes and identifying such changes)
- Work closely with Data Migration lead as well as overall Migration Lead to crystallize the overall Migration strategy and ensure its alignment with business
- Impact analysis of cutover should produce detailed business and process related adjustments/changes to be implemented for successful cutover to minimize customer experience impact, business operations impact and business revenue impact.
- Well versed with Migration Tools, Technology, and methodology
- Able to lead and get buy-in on cutover approach with senior stakeholders – business and technology.
- Expertise in planning migration window, business impact assessment during migration period
- Ability to understand business requirement and plan for business continuity during migration window.
- Managing impact on various 3pp/channels during migration window and plan for blocking/Unblocking
- Good understanding of migration life cycle starting scoping, mapping, development till migration to production.
- Extensive experience in BSS Suite (Billing, CRM, OMS etc) and related integration
- Manage stakeholders – internal / external and drive the migration cutover solution with effective collaboration.
- Excellent Customer facing and communication skills (written/oral) is mandatory – ability to lead design sessions for scoping, solution and mapping related to business and services migration related enhancements.
- Effectively manage multiple stakeholders and teams in a complex program environment to ensure delivery with high standards.
- Previous experience of leading team in Tier 1 BSS Projects, using agile methodology
