Job Description:

• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating requirements for software solutions.
• Communicate / validate scope of solutions with stakeholders, and manage expectations with regards to delivery of projects, and features that are added or removed.
• Write functional specifications; communicate with internal software development teams and third-party development partners.
• Perform configuration, customization of existing software solutions as required as part of project development and deliverables
• Prepare test cases; perform and support testing activities
• Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training for users.
• Perform post-deployment support of solution; ensuring objectives have been met; user satisfaction goals have been met
• Stay up to date on latest enhancements of existing solutions and new software development; define, revise, and recommend improvements to business processes based on these.

Requirements and Competencies

• Experience in consulting / business analysis or software implementation.
• Industry experience in International Freight Forwarding.
  (Road Transport and customs brokerage will be considered an asset)
• Experience with the CargoWise One system
  (CargoWise certification will be considered strong asset).
• Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Ability to bridge communication amongst technical and non-technical project staff and stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
• Understanding of CW1 Database Tables.
• Cargowise day to day support, resolve issue received from business team.
