Job Description
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop and maintaining automated test scripts/projects in agile transformation programme.
- Organising the automated test suites to meet the project objectives.
- Applying various designs and documenting the automation test approach
- Working with Test leads/managers to get a sign-off of the automation test approach
- Owning day to day automation test activities within the project
- Represent automation in sprint planning.
- Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases
- Logging defects arising from failed automated test.
- Involved in defect management process and defect triage.
- Managing the changes and executing regression tests
- Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers.
- Keeping updated with the latest industry developments.
- Reporting automation test results in a concise manner to the project.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Required
- At least 3-5 years of test automation experience.
- Experience Configuring Selenium Test Environment (STE).
- Experience in Selenium Environment Setup with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
- Experience in using Selenium WebDriver in a Java environment.
- Good analytical and test automation programming skills.
- Ability to design and implement automated test framework.
- Experience in automation UI, API and Database layers
- Experience with Data driven and POM test models.
- Coming up with solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling.
- Good experience in using a version control tool like EG, GIT, Azure DevOps.
- Self-starter, good oral and written communication skills, ability to manage workload and time.
- Implementation and monitoring of agreed testing strategies and plans
- Support ODC test lead in estimation of work relating to automated testing.
- Perform requirement analysis and ensure fitness for purpose.
- Identify test data and environment needs for automated testing.
- Be prepared to support team with hands on identification of test scenarios, creation and execution of test cases when needed
- Suggest improvements in test process.
Desirable
- Experience using Katalon Studio/RSAT.
- Experience of JavaScript/Groovy.
- Experience of automating tests on CRM Dynamics 365 and F&O.
