Job Description
Manage ABAP development requests through PIR and PCR.
• Manage PO configuration requests from business and/or functional teams.
• Ensure ABAP Team practice ABAP development according to AIA programming
standards and maintain necessary documentation of the development work.
• Ensure ABAP Team perform SAP PO interface configuration with due diligence,
taking into consideration on impact to all existing interfaces while maintaining
necessary documentation.
• Assist Senior manager to ensure that BI developments adhere to AIA standards
and roadmap defined by Solution Architect.
Roles and
Responsibilities:
• Assigning and monitoring of incidents and change requests (based on
complexity matrix).
• Attending to incidents & changes requests for SAP(primarily focused in
moderate to high complexity based on Complexity Matrix defined), primarily in
the areas of ABAP Workflow, SAPScript, Smartforms, IDocs and PO.
• Provide quality management in area of documentation and change
management.
• Accountable for compliance which covers SLA and governance controls.
• Attending to audit queries.
• Review and assist when necessary with the functional teams to develop
functional specifications so that specialists and/or lead specialists can deliver
the changes.
• Perform code review of ABAP colleagues (via QA check form) to ensure
programs delivered adhere to AIA programming standards.
• Ensure efficient SLA driven and effective end-user support and
communications
• Identify process enhancement and innovation and constantly propose
better/more efficient manner of application development

At least 8 years of SAP ABAP experience
• Dialog programming experience and exposure to BAPI and IDOC will be
advantageous
• Programming experience in the areas of FICO/FAM/ARIBA/CONCUR will be
advantageous
Practical Skills/Abilities:
• Possess in-depth analytical, communication, presentation and soft skills
• Attention to detail especially in ABAP programming and design ensuring
program logic is efficient (expensive code), and ability to think in a logical,
strategic and holistic manner
• Able to communicate well in English
• Able to write clearly and work within deadlines
• Able to work extended hours when necessary
• Possess personal attributes such as diligent, meticulous, tactful interpersonal
skills, professional integrity and initiative
• Keen to learn, a team player and have good working attitude
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, Powerpoint, Access, Visio) skills
